May 23 – A Day of Pride and Tradition for the Vlach Community
The National Day of the Vlachs is a day of pride, tradition, and identity, reminding us of the significant contribution of the Vlach community to social and cultural development. On this occasion, I extend my sincere congratulations to the members of the Vlach community, expressing deep respect for their cultural heritage, language, and centuries-old customs.
This day represents an opportunity to emphasize the importance of preserving and promoting cultural identity, as well as to reaffirm our shared commitment to building a society based on respect, tolerance, and equality. The Vlach community, with its authenticity, is an inseparable part of the multicultural mosaic of our country.
May this holiday serve as an encouragement for the further nurturing of tradition, strengthening of unity, and advancement of the values of coexistence and mutual respect.
“I wish you good health, joy, and dignity as you mark May 23,” said in his congratulatory message the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and Minister for Inter-Community Relations, Mr. Ivan Stoilkovic.
