On the occasion of April 8 – International Roma Day, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Ministry for Inter-Community Relations, I extend sincere congratulations to members of the Roma community, with a message of respect, equality, and shared progress.

International Roma Day represents an important date for paying respect to the identity, culture, and contribution of the Roma community in society.

The Republic of North Macedonia remains committed to advancing equal rights and opportunities for all citizens, as well as building a society of unity, togetherness, and mutual respect, without divisions on any grounds.

The Ministry for Inter-Community Relations will continue to implement active policies aimed at strengthening the position and inclusion of the Roma community in all social processes.
