Ahead of April 8 – International Roma Day, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and Minister for Inter-Community Relations, Mr. Ivan Stoilkovic, held a meeting with Roma employees working in the Ministry.

At the meeting, the employees shared their experiences, challenges, and suggestions, emphasizing the need for continuous activities aimed at improving the position of the Roma community and building a society without differences. Discussions also covered the current situation of Roma people, their participation in institutions, as well as opportunities for further enhancing their inclusion in social processes.

A special emphasis was placed on creating conditions for equal access to opportunities, professional development, and strengthening institutional support.

The Minister highlighted the importance of open dialogue and direct communication with employees as a foundation for developing more effective policies and measures that address real needs.

The Ministry for Inter-Community Relations remains committed to advancing equality, inclusion, and mutual respect as fundamental values of a democratic society.
