The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and Minister for Inter-Community Relations, Mr. Ivan Stoilkovic, today held a working meeting with the National Coordinator for the Development and Monitoring of National Strategies and Policies for Non-Majority Communities, Mr. Ercan Demir.

At the meeting, several topics were discussed, with emphasis on establishing functional coordination, exchanging relevant information and data, and aligning priorities and next steps toward more efficient planning and implementation of public policies related to non-majority communities. In this context, the possibilities for further institutional cooperation were also reviewed, including activities related to the Strategy for the Development of Interculturalism and Social Cohesion 2027–2032 with an Action Plan, in order to ensure continuity and reaffirm the strong and unequivocal commitment of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia to advancing interethnic relations, equality, and social cohesion in the country.

The meeting was assessed as constructive, with a clear willingness for regular communication and concrete steps. The interlocutors agreed that timely institutional communication and mutual cooperation are key to achieving sustainable results and ensuring continuity in processes of common interest, within the scope of the institutions’ competencies.
