The final event of the project “Little Hands, Great Heritage” by the Cultural and Artistic Association “Yeni Yol” was held
The Cultural and Artistic Association “Yeni Yol” successfully held the final event within the framework of the project “Little Hands, Great Heritage,” supported by the Ministry for Inter-Community Relations. The project aims to provide children from different ethnic communities with an opportunity to better understand their cultural heritage, strengthen social cohesion, and contribute to the fight against discrimination by promoting awareness of equality and human rights.
Throughout the project, the children participated in a series of activities through which they discovered the rich cultural diversity of Macedonia and gained new knowledge and friendships. At the final event, they presented their research and creative works, becoming true little cultural ambassadors.

The main activities within the project included:
Cultural workshops on traditional food, music, folk dances, folklore, and traditional costumes of different ethnic groups;
Educational interactive workshops on children’s rights, discrimination, and equality;
Collecting and sharing family stories related to cultural heritage;
A “Little Cultural Ambassadors” workshop, where the children presented their research through posters and creative works;
Awarding cultural ambassador badges as a symbol of their contribution to preserving cultural diversity.

Through the project “Little Hands, Great Heritage,” the Cultural and Artistic Association “Yeni Yol” contributes to the promotion and preservation of the cultural traditions of smaller ethnic communities in our country, as well as to fostering mutual understanding and coexistence. Through culture and tradition, children learn to respect differences and to become active participants in building a society free of prejudice and discrimination.

Through such initiatives, opportunities are created for the wider Macedonian society to become better acquainted with the culture and identity of smaller ethnic communities, promoting genuine interethnic coexistence, equality, and mutual respect.
