The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and Minister for Inter-Community Relations, Mr. Ivan Stoilkovic, today held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the country, H.E. Nevena Jovanovic.  

Minister Stoilkovic expressed his gratitude for the successful cooperation so far and the significant contribution of Ambassador Jovanovic in advancing the bilateral relations between North Macedonia and Serbia during her diplomatic mandate.  

The meeting also discussed several current issues of mutual interest, with a particular focus on the opportunities for deepening strategic cooperation, especially in the area of capital investments and the implementation of joint projects of strategic importance.

The two interlocutors exchanged views on the current political and economic situation in both countries and the broader region, reaffirming their mutual commitment to continuing the regular high-level political dialogue. The importance of coordinated efforts to encourage democratic development and accelerate economic transformation through stable and sustainable interstate cooperation was also emphasized.
