Stoilković held a meeting with the German Ambassador Drexler

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and Minister for Inter-Community Relations, Mr. Ivan Stoilković, today held a working meeting with a delegation from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in North Macedonia, led by H.E. Ambassador Petra Drexler.

During the meeting, it was concluded that the bilateral relations between the two countries are founded on friendship and cooperation in various areas of mutual interest, and the interlocutors expressed their readiness to further deepen these relations.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Inter-Community Relations, Stoilković, among other matters, briefed Ambassador Drexler on the functioning of the Ministry, the plans for this calendar year, and emphasized that intensive efforts are being made to change the approach towards smaller ethnic communities, as well as the fact that the Ministry for Inter-Community Relations should develop into an institution that works for the benefit of all ethnic communities in the country.  At the end of the meeting, both interlocutors agreed that the cooperation between the two countries, primarily based on long-standing friendship, is crucial, and that it can and should be further deepened.
