People with cerebral palsy over the age of 26 from Skopje and the surrounding area have received new hope for a better and higher-quality life through the project \u201cEqual Opportunities for All \u2013 Support for People with Cerebral Palsy,\u201d implemented by the association Council of Parents of Children and People with Cerebral Palsy \u201cGolden Angels\u201d, and supported by the Ministry for Inter-Community Relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project aims to promote equality and combat discrimination in all areas of social life, with a focus on providing practical support for people with disabilities. Its implementation included the procurement of modern rehabilitation equipment, which will provide users with access to regular physical therapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The equipment includes six different devices \u2014 N6 Multifunctional Stimulator, E5 Multifunctional Foot Massager, NM 200 Tourmanium Projector, Miricle II, HC 1 (eye strip), and NM 30 (neck pillow). With the help of this equipment, 35 active members of the \u201cGolden Angels\u201d association, who are not covered by services from the Health Insurance Fund, will have the opportunity for regular rehabilitation. This is expected to significantly improve their physical condition and reduce chronic pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to providing direct support to people with cerebral palsy, the project also included specialized training for parents and personal assistants, aimed at ensuring the proper use of the equipment and involvement in daily care processes. This approach enables greater autonomy for families while also reducing the need for frequent visits to healthcare institutions. The project represents an important step toward creating an inclusive community where people with disabilities are not left on the margins, but actively participate in all areas of life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
