The event was graced by the presence of the Prime Minister, Mr. Hristijan Mickoski, the Ambassador of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye in Skopje, H.E. Fatih Ulusoy, and Tahsin Ibrahim, the President of the Union of Turkish Non-Governmental Organizations in Macedonia (MAT\u00dcSITEB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/moz.gov.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/IMG_5403.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Prime Minister, Hristijan Mickoski, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Inter-Community Relations, Ivan Stoilkovi\u0107, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of nurturing one\u2019s mother tongue, as well as mutual respect and support, as integral parts of the multicultural and multiethnic mosaic we are collectively building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/moz.gov.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/IMG_5425.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was also enriched by the presence\u00a0 and a suitable program performed by students from the &#8220;Stra\u0161o Pind\u017eur&#8221; Primary School in Karbinci, along with its branch schools in the villages of Prnalija and Radanje. They introduced the attendees to the traditions and customs of the Yuruks, a part of the Turkish community in Macedonia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/moz.gov.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/IMG_5460.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Education in the Turkish mother tongue in the country has a long tradition, dating back to 1944, when the first steps were taken at the &#8220;Tefeyy\u00fcz&#8221; Primary School in Skopje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/moz.gov.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/IMG_5517.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In honor of Turkish Language Education Day and the upcoming New Year holidays, the Ministry for Inter-Community Relations provided suitable gifts for the children participating in the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Congratulations on December 21 \u2013 Turkish Language Education Day!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the occasion of December 21, Turkish Language Education Day, a special ceremony was held today at the premises of the Ministry for Inter-Community Relations.
